Churchill Magpie M3 Wall Safe

The Churhill Magpie M3 Wall Safe is part of the magpie range and is of a solid construction with a 10mm thick door. As standard you will find there is a high security key lock supplied with two keys with an option to upgrade should you wish. It is designed to be built into a wall and this can either be installed by a DIY enthusiast or local builder.

   Supplied Fittings and Fixing Information

• No shelf supplied
• Designed to be set into a wall using concrete
• No fixing holes

   Installation Information

• Prior to starting work on DIY installation we recommend you check the safe opens and there is no damage
• Remove batteries and instructions inside and keep them to one side until the concrete has dried out
• Next step is to create a space in the wall - this should be 100mm in each direction in addition of the safes measurements
• Create the concrete mix as described in the full instructions that are supplied - ensuring it is not too wet
• Now it is time to put the safe into the cavity you have made - now would be a good time to cover the safe in cling film to protect it during the installation
• Use wedges and a spirit level to ensure the safe is level and start to add the concrete in - ensure the door opens without any issues
• As the concrete will have water in the mix there will be a build up of condensation inside the safe so allow around 3-5 days for it to dry out before use
• It is strongly advised that during installation insulation is added to prevent condensation affecting the safe workings
• Failure of the safe caused by condensation or improper installation is subject to the owners risk
